As much as I love drawing, Photography has nosed ahead in terms of what peaks my interest these days. Not that I’m anywhere near the same caliber, but the legendary photographic pioneer, the late Henri Cartier-Bresson spent a near lifetime mastering his craft. But in his later years, he put his camera away and pursued his love for drawing and painting. He says that taking pictures was like making an instant drawing. But now he became more interested in taking his time and using all the wisdom he learned to take his artistry into a different dimension. It gave him something new to chase from which he derived great satisfaction. (Pictures taken with a Nikon D700 and Sony A200)

(Sketched and colored in Photoshop - March 2026)

However, I still regularly sneak in a drawing or two just to make sure those hands and eyes can still talk to each other. It’s just like riding a bike right?
