Just finished a traditional sketch for EMERALD CITY COMIC-CON’s Monster’s and Dames convention book.  The original art will be auctioned off to charity along with all the other artwork from the other convention guests.  I’m not at liberty to show you the finished product but here’s a little snippet.   The convention souvenir book is for sale to everyone attending.

Alternative Press Expo 2008

Posted on:  September 18, 2008

We’re taking the show on the road one last time this year for the ALTERNATIVE PRESS EXPO, which will be held Saturday and Sunday, November 1st and 2nd at the Concourse Exhibition Center in San Francisco, California.

As usual I’ll be joined by my esteemed colleague Octavio Rodriguez as we make a triumphant return to our favorite little convention by the bay. We had a fantastic time in 2006 when APE was a spring convention, sandwiched in between Wondercon and Comic-Con.

Now for the first time, APE is happening in the fall, which in my estimation is a great time to be in San Francisco so I commend the brain thrust of Comic-Con International for making the switch.

Copies of all our stuff will be on sale including the bay area debut of ALTERNATING CURRENTS. We hope to see all our wonderful bay area friends and colleagues and hope you make plans to come say hello and check out the best in independent publishing.
